Jewellery

I started making jewellery a few years ago after attending a beginners course with my Mum. There are so many pretty beads around that you cannot fail to be inspired. Although I do use wire wrapping in some of my creations my main focus is bead stringing. I have also dabbled in some very simple bead weaving as can be seen in the daisy chains and woven cuff below.

Daisy Chains
These are some daisy chains that I made to wear at the Glastonbury festival one year. They are made with Japanese seed beads. They can be worn on their own as a single strand or several
different coloured strands can be worn together.

Woven Cuff
This cuff was made using Japanese seed beads and elastic thread. It is a quite simple design but was actually very time consuming to make.

Carnelian and Pearl Necklace and Earring Set
I just love these colours! This necklace and earring set is made from lovely faceted carnelian beads and gold coloured freshwater pearls. I used frosted carnelian rondelles as spacer beads and finished it off with a magnetic clasp.

Black Onyx and Swarovski Crystal Necklace and Earring Set
I used faceted black onyx beads and beautiful sparkly swarovski crystals for this necklace. This turned out to be a very sparkly necklace and catches the light in an amazing way. I finished it off with a handmake silver-plated clasp.

Wood and Chinese Crystal Necklace
I love wood; the look and feel of it. This necklce is made from two differnt shaped wooden beads, interspersed with blue chinese crystals.
