I don't seem to be very good at this blogging lark, it has been over a month since I last posted anything. I suppose there are just too many things to do! Anyway here I am again having another go.
This weekend was mainly filled with jewellery making and a lot of gardening. I haven't made any jewellery for ages and decided to get my bead stash out and have a play around. My regular craft fairs have folded now so I haven't needed to make anything for a while.
I had forgotten how much I enjoyed experimenting and seeing what goes together and what doesn't! Here are a few pictures of the necklaces I made.

After my jewellery making session I spent most of Sunday in the Garden. I moved a lot of plants around and also planted some new plants I bought at a plant sale at work on Friday.
I was just finishing up to come inside for dinner when disaster struck...actually it was just me being incredibly stupid. I was cutting some cable ties holding some canes together when my hand slipped and I stabbed myself in the hand with a pair of scissors.
Two and a half hours later my lovely (and very patient) husband drove me home from the hospital with one bandaged (and superglued) hand, some antibiotics and a handful of dressings. Not the best way to spend a sunday evening! Let's hope I have learnt my lesson and am more careful in future.
