Scrapbooking and the curse of project 365.

It has been so long since I have written anything on here I can't believe the time has gone so quickly.

I have mainly been doing digital crafting lately and by that I mean I have been tackling my project 365 from 2010. I am determined to get it finished soon. I am still taking pictures for my 2012 project and have had to have a think about the best (and quickest) way to approach scrapping the pictures.

So I have decided that I am going to use a template as I think it will make life a lot easier and hopefully I won't get so behind. I was looking in the Designer Digitals (www.designerdigitals.com/) galley and saw some lovely pages created using a template by Pattie Knox. So I logged onto the shop and bought a few to have a go. What do you think?

I definately think that using these templates is the way to go for my 2012 project. I am determined to catch up as soon as possible. You may be interested to know that I am also getting on with my 2011 project and hope to have that finished soon. I will keep you posted, but for now here is another page from 2012.

Bunting in a flash!

A while ago I made my niece some bunting with her name on. Anyway earlier this year my sister-in-law asked me if I would make some for my other niece. Anyway I have been so busy making other things and persevering with the patchwork quilt that I still hadn't got round to it.

Anyway we were planning on going to visit sister-in-law and family as there was a big birthday afoot (sister-in-law's 40th). I though it was about time I got cracking and got the bunting done. So I decided I would do a bit each night after work.

It actually only took me three nights to finish. I cut it all out one night, sewed the triangles together the next night and put it all together with letters and bias binding on the third night.

Here are some pictures, what do you think. I must admit I was really pleased with it, let's hope my little niece likes it too!
Now to make my Christmas bunting!

My name is Tamsin and I want to take you on my journey through the world of craft and lovely things.

I must admit to being a fickle crafter and love trying new things though my main loves are jewellery and fabric crafts.

I craft from my home in Oxfordshire, England, which I share with my lovely husband and Tabitha our cat.
