Splitting Grasses.

I spent most of today splitting a very large grass in the front garden. It proved to be harder than I first thought. It took ages to dig it out of the ground and then I just couldn't seem to split it. It looks so much easier on Gardener's World!

A large hole where the grass once was.
I tried using a fork and a spade to separate it but in the end I had to admit defeat and call my lovely Husband to help out. Eventually, after a lot of hard work, we managed to separate the grass into several bits.

I put three back in the garden and took a few bits to my Mum's. She is going to keep a bit, put some in my sisters garden and give some bits to her friend. So from one large grass we have managed to get enough for 4 gardens.

All finished and planted in the ground again.

My name is Tamsin and I want to take you on my journey through the world of craft and lovely things.

I must admit to being a fickle crafter and love trying new things though my main loves are jewellery and fabric crafts.

I craft from my home in Oxfordshire, England, which I share with my lovely husband and Tabitha our cat.
